Nothing can separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38) But an unrepentant heart can drive a wedge in our relationship with Him. A wedge that leads to separation. Not because of Him, but because of us.
Just like when someone won’t apologize for something they’ve done. Or at the very least, admit it and take responsibility.
It can be downright maddening, and something changes in the relationship. A wedge forms and separation begins.
